NEW BRANDING FOR THE REGROUPEMENT DES CENTRES D’AMITIÉ AUTOCHTONES DU QUÉBEC
Wendake, January 11, 2011 - The Regroupement des centres d’amitié autochtones du Québec is proud to unveil its new corporate image, one which will colour all its actions and representations in the upcoming years.
This new branding includes a new visual identity through an updated logo and totemanimals while remaining true to our values and traditions.
Furthermore, the RCAAQ’s new updated and dynamic website is online at www.rcaaq.info It will allow for a better understanding of the urban reality, issues and challenges faced by Aboriginals who participate fully in the collective enrichment of the Quebec and Canadian society.
The RCAAQ’s new image illustrates our commitment and innovative actions to improve the life conditions of urban Aboriginal citizens, in a true concern to understand and share, indicated the President, Ms. Édith Cloutier. This new website will also better reflect the Aboriginal citizens of Quebec’s vision to influence and redefine the city as a public space.
This new corporate image will be reflected throughout the communication strategy developed by the RCAAQ. Moreover, the printed communication tools will also be updated shortly.
The Regroupement des centres d’amitié autochtone du Québec advocates in favour of the rights and interests of urban Aboriginal citizens, while supporting the Native Friendship Centres in their actions aiming to improve the quality of life of Aboriginals, to promote the culture and to bridge the gap between peoples.
The Native Friendship Centres of Quebec are implemented in Montreal, Val-d’Or, Chibougamau, La Tuque, Senneterre, Quebec City, Sept-Îles, Joliette (Lanaudière) and Saguenay, and Trois-Rivières is currently in the development phase.
