Youth and Governance

The Native Friendship Centres of Québec and the RCAAQ reserve one seat for youth representation within their decision-making entities. Moreover, the RCAAQ integrates the needs of urban Aboriginal youth in all of its project development processes.

The coordination of the Aboriginal Youth Council is ensured by the RCAAQ. As such, we organize various meetings, training sessions, exchanges and apprenticeships with young Aboriginals from the Movement in order to meet their needs, as defined in the youth strategic planning.
