Mission
Opening its doors for the first time on October 2, 2023, the Centre d’amitié autochtone de Manicouagan was officially inaugurated on September 27, 2024. Located in Baie-Comeau, near the community of Pessamit, the Friendship Centre serves all Indigenous people living in or passing through the region. The Centre has quickly become known as a resource centre focused on providing support, listening and respect of Indigenous cultural values. Its main goals are to bring people together, share, help and provide services.
