Google Analytics is a web analysis service that provides basic statistics and numerical analysis of the RCAAQ website traffic. Information such as connection time, connection location, actions performed on the site, pages consulted and the site from which the user arrives, are collected and anonymized in order to feed this traffic analysis tool.

Tracking Pixel

We have integrated a Pixel Meta on the RCAAQ website for advertising purposes which allow us to better understand user interactions and behaviours between Meta’s platforms and our website.

Google Tag Manager

Google Tag Manager bridges the gap between user actions and Google Analytics. This tool recognizes actions taken on the site and sends relevant anonymous data to Google Analytics.

Hotjar

Hotjar is a tool that enables us to better understand the behaviour and movements of visitors to our website. This data is anonymized and used only to optimize the content of our site.

Cookies

The RCAAQ website uses extensions and integrations from various services to ensure the proper operation and optimization of web pages. These services use cookies, as described below, to facilitate the operation of the site, optimize performance and collect anonymous data on behaviours observed on the site.

  • WordPress uses cookies which allow us to implement or modify website content in real time.

Analytics Cookies

  • Hotjar uses cookies to recognize the first page you visit on our website and to understand user actions and clickstream. This data is anonymized.
  • Google Analytics et Google Tag Manager uses cookies to calculate the number of visits, sessions and advertising campaign data to give us an overview of traffic on our site. This data is anonymized.

Marketing cookies

  • Meta uses cookies to suggest ads on their platforms that are likely to match your interests.

Data usage

We use your contact information exclusively to reach you or to add you to an e-mail mailing list, according to your wishes expressed in the form you completed.

All information related to these forms is strictly used for these purposes and all your requests are processed exclusively by the RCAAQ. Information collected via our website may be stored in cloud services outside Quebec, notably in the United States. By using our website, you consent to the transfer of your personal information outside Quebec.

Data communication

Access to your personal information is limited to the minimum number of relevant members within our organization, as reasonably justified to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy.

We will not disclose your information to third parties without your consent, unless we are required to do so by law. Currently, we do not share your personal information with any third parties that require your consent.

Request for access, rectification and withdrawal of consent

You have the right to access your personal information. You also have the right to withdraw your consent to the disclosure or use of the information collected. If this is the case, please send us a request.
